About +$15/month on a typical bill. PECO filed on March 30, 2026 for a $429.1 million (about 9.3% of total revenue) electric distribution increase, which would have raised the average residential electric bill about $20.08 per month (12.5%) starting in 2027 for poles, wires, transformers, storm-response technology and grid reliability; a companion $81.3 million gas case was filed the same day. After pushback from customers and state leaders PECO petitioned to withdraw both cases in May 2026; its prior 2024 settlement had barred a new filing before March 16, 2026.
