About +$12/month on a typical bill. DESC filed January 2, 2026 for a 12.73% increase, about $19.98/month for a 1,000 kWh residential customer. A comprehensive settlement (9.99% ROE, 53.52% equity) filed May 8 was approved by the SC PSC on June 11, 2026, limiting the residential increase to 7.62%, just under $12/month at 1,000 kWh, effective July 1, 2026. Money is for generation, grid and storm investments.
