26-01-03: PURA's annual Rate Adjustment Mechanism review (decided April 22, 2026) cut Eversource residential rates by 4.3 cents/kWh, about $30 on an average bill (about $43 at 1,000 kWh, scaled from the per-kWh figure), effective May 1, 2026 through April 30, 2027. Decrease reflects lower public benefits charges tied to Millstone/Seabrook contracts and lower hardship-program costs. A prudence review may adjust rates September 1. Source

2025 Rate Adjustment Mechanism annual review: PURA's April 23, 2025 RAM decision lowered the public benefits and transmission portions of bills, about $13/month for an average Eversource residential customer starting May 1, 2025, after approving a $142 million customer credit from Millstone/Seabrook contract gains (Eversource had sought $275 million plus a $75 million storm reserve, both rejected). Supply and distribution rates were unchanged. Source
