Your rate
Texas is a retail-choice state: this utility's rate case sets the delivery part of your bill. The supply part comes from your chosen supplier or the default service rate.
Estimate your bill
It's on your bill, usually near the top. Starting at 1,118 kWh, the average for Oncor homes.
This is an estimate. Tariff: $4.06 fixed + 6.9¢/kWh effective September 1, 2026 (source). Texas TDU (wires only; no default supply). cents_kwh = Oncor residential delivery charge only: $4.06/mo + 6.8673 c/kWh as passed through on a Direct Energy Electricity Facts Label dated 10/04/2026 (PUCT TDU rates reset Sep 1 2026; other Sept 2026 sources quote 6.03-6.12c, so verify against Oncor tariff). Representative 12-month fixed retail plan (same EFL): energy charge 8.8798 c/kWh + Oncor delivery = average price 16.6 c/kWh at 1,000 kWh (17.5c at 500 kWh); electricrates.org lists cheapest 12-mo plans ~7.3c all-in at 1,000 kWh (Oct 7 2026).
