24-0468-EL-AIR: In FirstEnergy's joint Ohio base rate case the PUCO's November 19, 2025 order raised The Illuminating Company's revenue by $75.9 million, reduced on the February 18, 2026 rehearing entry to about $48.7 million (storm deferrals amortized over 25 years); new rates effective March 1, 2026. FirstEnergy said CEI residential bills at 1,000 kWh fall $1.02/month while $275 million settlement credits apply, then rise $13.69/month after credits expire (pre-rehearing figures). Source
